BRA AGM and Bond Lecture Thursday 27 October 2017

We are delighted to announce that this year’s Bond Lecture will be ‘Valuing the Written Word: Reflections on four decades in the antiquarian trade’ by Joan Winterkorn. The lecture will take place at 6pm following BRA’s Annual General Meeting.

Joan Winterkorn has been handling the valuation and sale of archives and manuscripts since 1979. Before joining the antiquarian book trade she worked as an archivist in London, and a rare book and manuscript librarian at Cornell University in the United States.

We are delighted that this year’s AGM and Bond Lecture are being hosted by ING (8-10 Moorgate, London EC2R 6DA). ING houses The Baring Archive, one of the finest archives of a financial institution anywhere in the world.
