VISIT TO CAMBRIDGE COLLEGES, 7 APRIL 2017: Places Still Available!


Following the success of our visits to Westminster Abbey and Eton College in 2016, our first visit of 2017 will take in four Cambridge colleges: Jesus, St John’s, Trinity and King’s. A few places still remain and these are open to both members and non-members. The programme for the day is as follows:


11.30-12.45   The Archive, Buildings, and Gardens of Jesus College

12.45-1.45     Lunch (people to make their own arrangements- there are many places in the centre of town)

1.45-2.45       The Archive Centre, the School of Pythagoras, St John’s College

2.45-3.45       The Wren Library, Trinity College

3.45-4.15        Break

4.15-5.15        The Archive, King’s College

5.15       Opportunity to attend Evensong in King’s College Chapel (Chapel door closes 5.30 sharp)

Trains depart regularly from Kings Cross and Liverpool St stations and there are frequent buses leaving for the town outside the station. The journey by bus to Jesus College takes c 20 minutes.

Numbers are limited to 15 so you are advised to book early and by 6 March, after which any spare places will be opened to non-members at £20.
